Iranian short ‘Off Lantern’ to vie at Portuguese fest

Co-directed by Farshad Ghaffari and Payam Laghari, Iranian short film ‘Off Lantern’ has been selected to compete at the 2020 Moinho Cine Fest in Portugal.

The film narrates the story of a family who aims to emigrate from their country.

The family has to pass through the Mediterranean Sea, but they encounter some incidents.

The Moinho fest represents nano-films and micro-films.

It defines nano-film’s length up to 1:00 (mm:ss) and micro-film’s length up to 5:00 (mm:ss).

The 2nd edition of the festival will take place in April 2020 in Portugal.
